What Is a Mandatory Gear Check?

Before you hit the trails, every runner must have their mandatory safety gear checked and approved. This process ensures all participants are carrying essential equipment for safety, navigation, and weather protection.

Gear checks are required before bib collection and must meet the exact specifications set by each race organiser — from thermal layers and waterproof jackets to head torches and emergency blankets.
